just got an alert from my firewall that it was trying to connect for an upgrade - never seen it before, nor did I knowingly download it, and now suddenly there is an icon for it on the display in Settings/control panel and rt.click on properties says over 30mb file. Called Tech support at AOL - said it's not from them.

Run a spy scan and if you didn't download them I would delete them. They showed up on my computer a while back and I was having all kinds of problems. You could also do housecall.trendmicro.com. Lot's of luck, I had to do a disk recovery. It's no fun.

i'll say that viewpointmanger comes from or it is bundles from software that you have downloaded from the internet...or it is a part of a software and maybe it is a malware....to be sure please scan your PC with Ad-aware, Spy doctor. Spybot search & destroy, Windows defender and the like....download it in www.download.com....if find as a spyware or malware.....remove it safely

But you can uninstall it through the control panel----Add remove programs and find that program and uninstall it.

YOu can use system restore if you problem still exist.....You can use it if you have a Windows XP OS.

I recomend You change your operating system with Windows XP service pack 2 beacause it has already a built in firewall....the best...

use Trend micro for Anti-virus.....You can trust on it for sure..

To avoid on malware or spyware please try spyblaster....It avoids spyware install 90%...

Never download a file in an untrusted site.....
You'll never know what will happened next

Good Luck!!
