| Is it highly recommended to use windows vista when it comes out? What would you do with the old windows XP cd's then? destroy them? sell them? |

| For sure it's not highly recommended. As the past learns us, the first releases of new Windows OS are pretty faulty. Wait and see. |

| Well, I am a computer experimenter so I will switch to Vista to see what it does. Most current editions of XP in use are 32 bit but there is a 64 bit version available. It was available free to registered XP users from Microsoft & may still be. When I got mine all I had to do was ask & provide my 32 bit registration number. I think now they make you send in your original CD's from the 32 bit version but I believe it is still free. Right now 64 bit doesn't help a lot because applications that can take advantage of it are few. As useage grows and software support grows 64 bit will snowball. |
