| I almost get a hernia trying to move the stick into 4 wheel drive. Is it the cold weather, thick grease, mechanical wear and tear? Is there anything I can do to make it easier? |

| I am in a Diesel class... So it could be your transfer case.... To make it at least a little easier... make sure you have the right type of lube in your case. Also make sure your in N or in park when you are shifting... if you have any expeirence in this field and you are comfortable with working on your own vechicle then you can drain it and inspect it... this would also be a great time to make sure you have the right lube in the case. Depending on the miles put on the truck it could just be wear and fitigued the material so as a result you may have also twisted a shaft. |
