| The answer above is 100% correct... also... You must make sure that both computers are on the same workgroup ie:"mshome" Also you need to make sure each computer has shared files(any file you want to share needs to be given permission to share) Sometimes you might have a bit of a problem sharing a folder that is located in an unshared folder. If this is a home network where you trust the users of these machines...share the entire drive. "D" |

| Go to start- control panel- network and internet connection- network connection. On the left panel u will see set up home network. After setting it up, create a network setup disk. with this disk put it into the win 98 machine and run the netsetup on the disk. Restart the win 98 pc. After this u will be able to use network neighbourhood to share files. |
