| cell phone solution? I would like to get rid of my Cingular monthly cell plan and use VoIP instead since it's so much cheaper, and I have WiFi everywhere on my college campus. Will any combination of software (e.g. Skype, Gizmo, Yahoo) and hardware (Pocket PC, Palm, Smartphone) allow me to pull this off? So far I have found Skype + Pocket PC with SkypeIn and SkypeOut. This looks good but I'm not sure how receiving calls would work (i.e. if the Pocket PC would run out of batteries after being on round the clock). Plus, I would need a headset. Does anyone know if I can yet achieve my dream of a WiFi cell phone with quality sound? |
