I got an old computer but it restarts itself too much. Also it has opening problems. How can I find with part is malfunctioned?
Some more details about the problem.

Sometimes computer is not opening, not windows. Mainboard receives power (I see green light on it) but power led on case is off. When system opens it resets on windows setup, format screen, chkdsk checks, with working other programs or just doing nothing for some minutes in windows. I changed PSU and RAM but it didnt solve my problem.

I would suggest you have a professional take a look at it. It could be anything.I have a feeling it's the motherboard, but don't take my word for it. Just have it looked at.If you've had it for a very long time over the years, chances are you might either need a new motherboard,or a new pc. I have a Dell Dimension 3000 and i recommend you buy yourself one if you don't wanna spend over $600 on a new motherboard

Hmmm..Does a window appear on your screen with a count down of 60s before restarting? In that case you may be having a virus problem or something like if you are using an unregistered software. It happened to me before, what i did was to make a shortcut for shutdown.exe (just rename it like stop reboot) at my desktop. then everytime the window appears, i would click the botton and there, it would terminate the action of restarting.

If this is not your problem... Hmmm... Not sure. but scan your computer for virus first before you bring it to a shop.
