| I just had to replace the front seal on my 2002 Ford Taurus. I have a friend who also says he has transmission trouble in his 2003 Taurus. Is this a problem with the Taurus or are we just unlucky? |

|  It is a known historical problem with the Taurus. Some Escorts fall into the same category. |

| Ford Taurus' are known for transmission touble. I had a 1998 Taurus that I put two transmissions in. In the first transmission it stopped shifting through the gears and then quit on the interstate. The replacement transmission started acting up months after it was replaced. After the transmission is replaced you shouldn't have any problems (beside routine maintenance. oil changes, brakes, front end parts ect...) Good luck, KamiKat |
