I replaced the fuel pump because it was hard starting. Also the fuel pump relay was replaced. Now the fuel guage won't work, and from the time I turn the key on, there is a long delay (upwards of 30 sec.) to the time the engine will crank. Everyone says "I've heard of this", but no one can tell me how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Your fuel filter might be plugged. That may have been what was wrong with it in the first place, not the pump. It's having a hard time pumping the fuel from your tank to the engine and if the filter is clogged, that will happen.
