| im lookin to buy some 2000w Dual 4-ohm Subs...I want to know if i should get a 2000w 2 channel amp. im gonna get 2 of these speakers. do i need a capacitator (and what is it) or a distribution block ( this is so i dont blow a fuse..right?) |

| Also, if you're going to be running 4,000 W of power, your stock alternator probably isn't going to cut it, even with 4 farads of power capacitance. You'll need to look into a high output alternator. |

| 1) Depending on the RMS on the subs. match the amp's RMS w/ the sub's RMS. 2) Definitely you need a cap. The size???? depending on the total wattage of the amps. 3) You will need a fused distribution block if you gonna install 2 or more amps. |

| First if you are getting 2 subs that are 2000 watts then you need a amp that is 4000 watts 2channel,and second you will need a capacitor,your capacitor will need 1 farad for every 1000 watts which means you need a 4 farad capacitor so that way it makes it easy on your altenator to control and power all that stuff.If you need more help then e-mail me at snowmogoer@yahoo.com |
