it's a felony. Because you're stealing something. This guy stole it from my dad's car and we found who he was and turned him in. He got about 6 months in jail.

In Arizona we have two registration stickers, the traceable sticker which has the year your motor vehicle registration will expire is numbered , so it can be tracked if found on another vehicle.the fine for driving without current registration is $450.00. Then if the citing officer suspects hanky panky regarding stickers, he has to decide what he feels he can get you with. Sticker theft is hard to prove, the officer would like to nail you and see a conviction with out having to waste his time in the court room, so he might do the following instead, depending on his mood, his feelings towards you , and your guilt regarding. If he does't care much for you and you were a jerk you'd get the NO CURRENT REG., $450.00 He could arrest you book you, then just before you post bond and get released, he could charge you with possession for the bogus sticker, he would cut you a deal, but
you'd get two more days. Then he could impound your vehicle and find some vicoden tablets w/o a perscription,(felony) and a marijuana cigarette. (another felony). Now your fucke*. , and you need $7,000. bond on those 2. After two weeks being locked up , you bond out but on your way home from jail, you are walking and you drop by a store to grab a quick beer to ease the pain , and you take a swig as you walk and the man sees you and busts you for open container, fuc*! he we go again: excuse me for a second ( ok Honey, I'll be right there) hey dude it's dinner time, I got to go, Hey good luck with shi*! Gotta Go, SEEEEEEEE YAA.

you can get up to 30 days in jail an a $5000 fine an may lose your lic.

No matter if it's a misdemeanor or a felony, you would find yourself in a lot of "hot water" (possibly cited, arrested, or jailed) and out of a lot of money trying to defend yourself. Then you would have to pay penalties to make your car's registration current. Not worth it.....

It is a felony so it is probably a $500 fine and some time in jail.. If you are loaded, the cop system will try to drain you of all your money.. that is what cops are for.. that is what our judicial system is all about.
