| But it's too many brands/items. I need to design a software system for sparepart control to be used in my car Maintenance Center. My Center has to support many brands, hence, so many sparepart codes/standards. All I have is hardcopy manual used to order sparepar. Please help giving idea: How I should set up the sparepart master table to cover different models/brands of car ( and machine,...) One brand may contain thounsand items already and each brand use different code structure. |

|  The vendors you purchase your parts from should offer you a database of the parts they want to offer to you. |
