How is "Porsche" pronounced?
This is a discussion on How is "Porsche" pronounced? within the Cars and Bikes forums, part of the Main Category category; I am constantly wondering if Porsche is pronounced "porsh" or "porsha". PLEASE HELP...

|  the proper pronunciation is "porsh eh" (or porsha I suppose lol) I did a school prject on Porsche and I had a lot of research included with that. But I still feel weird saying "porsh eh" because no one else does lol. |

| Pronunciation of "Porsche" In German "Porsche" is pronounced porsh-uh. In English, the German form is often heard from official Porsche sources and from some Porsche owners and enthusiasts. Outside of these groups however, the pronunciation porsh is standard. There is a habit in American English towards over-compensating the e, which then results into pronouncing it as Pors-scha. |
