Default What Causes Flickering Oil Light In Nissan Altima ?
I spent $1600 for new oil pump and sending unit, for nothing. The problem is not improved at all.

Could be low oil, defective oil sending unit or a dying oil pump. Check the oil level, if it is normal, take the car to the shop and have them manually check the oil pressure. If you oil pump fails, it could ruin the engine.
