| You will need to check with the insurance agent or insurance company that services the policy. I work for an insurance tracking company for many different banks. The banks do not care if the vehicle is insured under other people's names, but the insurance companies normally do. For legal reasons, you may need to be listed as an excluded driver on her insurance policy. That's usually the policy that is applied if you would have the loan in your name and your sister would be driving the vehicle. |

| You could co-title the car. Put both names on it. Heres the thing - You can't insure something that you don't own. If she took out an insurance policy on the car that is just in your name and had an accident, the claim could be denied. |
