My daughter is 16 and for christmas we were thinking about buying a car for her. She has always wanted a Jeep Wrangler, white, tan top, lift kit, the whole nine yards. We wanted to buy a used one rather than a new one. I was wondering if it is a good choice, I have reasearched roll and crash test ratings but I would like to get some feedback on some other opinions. PLEASE HELP!

Any jeep product is a good first car. My parents have at any point in time they have always owned a Jeep they are tough and dependable. Your daughter will love it. Atleast you wont have to worry about her getting hurt in a car crash. Good LUck!

I would definitely recommend a Jeep. Let me give you a few reasons. My dad, for my first car, wanted me to have a truck or SUV. I talked him out of it. He thought it would be safer for me to drive a big car rather than a sports or sedan. For this he was right, I bought an eclipse for my first car. It's a small Mitsubishi sports car. I got into an accident and it totally screwed me over. My friend, on the other hand, had his truck rolled three times and he never got hurt. So, in my opinion, even though the Jeep has a high possiblity of rolling over, I still think it is much safer.
